1. Scope of Application
These fee and payment terms apply to all medical services provided by Reaging Medicine, in particular telemedical consultations, online appointments, and administrative services (e.g. prescription requests, medical certificates, laboratory referrals).
2. Private Practice and Reimbursement (Wahlarzt)
Reaging Medicine is operated as a private medical practice.
All medical services are provided as private services.
Patients may submit honorarium notes to their health insurance provider for partial reimbursement under the Austrian “Wahlarzt” system. Direct billing with statutory health insurance providers is not offered.
3. Advance Payment
Advance payment is required for the following services:
- Online initial consultations
- Online follow-up consultations
- Telephone consultations
- Administrative services (e.g. prescription requests, medical certificates, laboratory referrals)
Payment is processed via the payment service provider Stripe.
Appointments and services are considered binding only after receipt of payment.
4. Appointment Cancellation
Appointments can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.
Cancellations less than 48 hours before the appointment or failure to attend (no-show) will result in the full fee (100%) being charged.
To cancel, please send an email with your request to ordination@reaging-medicine.at at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.
5. Refunds
In the event of timely cancellation (at least 48 hours before the appointment), the paid amount will be refunded.
Stripe transaction fees will be deducted from the refund amount.
6. Late Arrival
In case of late arrival, the appointment may still take place, but the consultation time may be shortened without any reduction in the fee.
7. Telemedical Services
Telemedical consultations are considered full medical services in accordance with applicable professional and legal regulations.
Diagnosis, treatment recommendations, prescriptions, and medical confirmations may be provided via telemedicine, where medically appropriate.
8. Honorarium Notes and Payment Receipts
After successful online payment, patients receive a payment receipt by email.
- For telemedical consultations, the honorarium note (official invoice) is issued after the service has been provided and sent by email.
- For administrative services, the honorarium note is issued after processing the request and sent by email.
9. Liability and Medical Disclaimer
Medical services are provided in accordance with current medical standards and with due professional care. Telemedicine does not replace an in-person medical examination in all cases.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Austrian law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Vienna, Austria, where legally permissible.
